Throughout the Rotary year we work on a range of projects that support our local community of Langport & Somerton, national projects through RIBI and international projects, often in collaboration with other Rotary Clubs in

District 1200, and Rotary's own charity, Foundation.

The types of projects we support and we are open to applications for funds or projects to support in our local community are:-

  • Small burseries to support young people travel around the globe for their educational and vocational enhancement.
  • Small burseries for those in our community needing help.
  • Support to local volunteer groups to help them become more sustainable.
  • We are active supporters of the District's young peoples' projects, particularly Youth Speaks, Kids Out as well as financial support for both Langport and Somerton Youth Clubs
  • Support humanitarian projects overseas.
