We are proud of our community and will do all we can to support it. Our fundraising activities are fun as well as financially beneficial to the causes we support.
The photo montage above is a snapshot of what we are getting up to during 2017/18 that includes our support for the Somerton Festival where we offered customers the chance to play darts for prizes while introducing them to the work of Rotary within our community.
In September we attended the Drayton Street Fair, where our Rotary Club gazebo was set up in School Street, outside Rotarian Tim Loosemore’s house. Our aim was to promote all the good work our club does while raising funds for our local charities throigh fun and games such as "Water into Wine" and finding the "Magic Key" - all of which raised over £350.
For the first time we celebrated Halloween with a Bonfire & Haloween Party at the home of Rotarian Rupert Cox at Long Sutton. £500 was raised to support local youth groups, so a big "thank you" to residents of Long Sutton who came out in force to support us
